Domain relationships

This entry represents a domain found in trafficking protein particle complex subunit 11 (Trappc11), which is involved in endoplasmic reticulum to Golgi apparatus trafficking at a very early stage [PMID: 21525244]. The C terminus of this region contains TPR repeats.

In zebrafish, Trappc11 is also known as protein foie gras. It has been shown to affect development; the mutants develop large, lipid-filled hepatocytes in the liver, resembling those in individuals with fatty liver disease [PMID: 16000385].
