Protein Rot1 (IPR019623)

Short name: Rot1

Family relationships

None.

Description

Rot1 is a molecular chaperone involved in protein folding in ER [PMID: 16567426]. It is required for normal levels of the cell wall 1,6-beta-glucan [PMID: 15470097] and for protein N- and O-glycosylation [PMID: 22492205]. It also controls actin cytoskeleton polarization to the mother-bud neck and CLB2 protein stability [PMID: 17606994].
