Glucose/Sorbosone dehydrogenase (IPR012938)

Short name: Glc/Sorbosone_DH

Domain relationships

Proteins containing this domain are thought to be glucose/sorbosone dehydrogenases. The best characterised of these proteins is soluble glucose dehydrogenase (P13650) from Acinetobacter calcoaceticus, which oxidises glucose to gluconolactone. The enzyme is a calcium-dependent homodimer which uses PQQ as a cofactor [PMID: 10508152].
