Dynein 1 light intermediate chain (IPR008467)

Short name: Dynein1_light_intermed_chain

Family relationships

This family consists of several eukaryotic dynein light intermediate chain proteins. The light intermediate chains (LICs) of cytoplasmic dynein consist of multiple isoforms, which undergo post-translational modification to produce a large number of species. This entry represents the dynein 1 light intermediate chains. DLIC1 is known to be involved in assembly, organisation, and function of centrosomes and mitotic spindles when bound to pericentrin.
