The late expression factor 2 (lef-2) protein from Orgyia pseudotsugata multicapsid polyhedrosis virus (OpMNPV) is required for expression of late genes. The lef-2 protein has been shown to be specifically required for expression from the vp39 and polh promoters [PMID: 8445724].
