Expression Profiler at the EBI
Expression Profiler: Next Generation is an open, extensible web-based collaborative platform for microarray gene expression, sequence and PPI data analysis, exposing distinct chainable components for clustering, pattern discovery, statistics (thru R), machine-learning algorithms and visualization.
Q: Do you have an algorithm or method that you'd like to see integrated into EP:NG? A: It's easy! It took about a week
and a half to create the Between Group Analysis component. All
components are essentially XML files that describe how the algorithm
should be accessed and what outputs it returns. The algorithm itself
can be in any language (or can even be located remotely, say, on your
own website) - BGA is in R, our clustering algorithms are in C, and
data subselections are done in Perl.
