CC   ORF 638 and ORF 821 were identified as gyrB and gyrA genes.
CC   Comparison of amino acid sequences revealed that ORF 44, ORF 446,
CC   ORF 378 and ORF 323 are homologous with rpmH, dnaA and recF of E.
CC   coli. Two non-coding regions characteristic for oriC signals were
CC   found. One region is upstream of ORF 446 (region 1) and the other
CC   between ORF 446 and ORF 378 (region 2). They are characterized by
CC   repeats of 9 nucleotides (direct repeat 1) whose consensus
CC   sequence, TTAT (C/A) CACA is identical to that of the repeats found
CC   in the oriC sequence of the E. coli chromosome. Pairs of repeats
CC   may form stem loop structures.
