CC   sequence contains a 145bp deletion against the ga strain, and the
CC   authors argue that they sequenced a defective clone. the missing
CC   nucleotides are denoted by n's (see fesvgaonc between 1818 and 1964
CC   for presumed base sequence). the last 24 bases represent the
CC   sequence of feline leukemia virus.
