Webin is compatible with most browers, however we strongly recommend using Firefox, or version 4 or higher of Netscape/Internet Explorer.
- Mandatory fields: a red dot "
" indicates that a field is mandatory. You must complete it in to proceed further
- EMBL flat file format: to understand the EMBL flat file have a look at a sample entry with links to line-type descriptions.
- Help pages: WEBIN help buttons and hyperlinks will appear in a second browser window. Keep this help window visible if possible and remember to look in the minimised help window if a link doesn't appear in the main browser
- Corrections: to make changes, follow the hyperlinks and buttons provided in the forms (all the data can be changed or corrected from the last WEBIN summary page).
Please do not step back using the browser's '< previous page' button to navigate the WEBIN forms
To review and modify previously entered sequences in a multiple submission, follow the instructions given at the end of each sequence submission.
