Alternative Exon Database

PLEASE NOTE

The ASD, ATD, AEdb and ASTD resources will be phased out beginning of 2012.

From now, you can access up-to-date alternative splicing events information through Ensembl

Alternatively, you can retrieve all the archived data from ASD/ATD/ASTD/AEdb projects on the EBI ftp site at ftp.ebi.ac.uk/pub/databases/astd

AEDB is a manual generated database for alternative exons and their properties from numerous species - the data is gathered from literature where these exons have been experimentally verified.

Services

At the moment we have the following AEdb products available:

Sequence A database of alternative exons.Search via a simple query form.
Submission and modification is restricted to consortium members.
Function A database of functions attributed to constitutive and alternative exon. Search via a simple query form. Submission and modification is restricted to consortium members.
Regulatory sequences A database of transcript regulatory motifs. Search via a simple query form. Submission and modification is restricted to consortium members.
Minigenes A table of minigenes and their associations to splicing events.
Diseases A table of diseases associated with splicing and their associations to AltSplice.
