Cell Line Growth Others protocol; Cells from the line LINE (referenced in REF) were obtained from the Drosophila Genomics Resource Center (
), and were grown in petri dishes at 25ºC. Each 100 mm tissue culture-grade petri dish contained 10 ml of cells growing in MEDIUM. Cells were maintained between approximately CONC. and 1.0 x 10^7 cells/ml, and harvested at about 5-7.5 x 10^6 cell/ml. Do not allow any of the cells to become overgrown; some cell lines will not recover if overgrown. For additional information about the line, see relevant DGRC page (
