For each sample, 1.65ug of Cy3-labeled cRNAs were fragmented and hybridized for 17 hours in a rotating hybridization oven. 8-week-old male mice received aerosolized saline for 30 min prior to collection of lung for RNA processing. Whole lung was collected and flash frozen in liquid nitrogen. Total lung RNA was isolated using the Qiagen RNeasy kit following the manufacturer's recommendations.
