6 protocols
AccessionNameType
P-MTAB-33443
array scanning protocol
Microarray scanning was performed as in *Müller et al. (2007). (*Müller P, Donnelly MJ, Ranson H (2007) Transcription profiling of a recently colonised pyrethroid resistant Anopheles gambiae strain from Ghana. BMC Genomics 8:36 doi:10.1186/1471-2164-8-36. )
P-MTAB-33442
nucleic acid hybridization to array protocol
Hybridizations were performed as described in *Müller et al. (2007). (*Müller P, Donnelly MJ, Ranson H (2007) Transcription profiling of a recently colonised pyrethroid resistant Anopheles gambiae strain from Ghana. BMC Genomics 8:36 doi:10.1186/1471-2164-8-36. )
P-MTAB-33441
nucleic acid labeling protocol
Final target preparation (aRNA fluorescent labelling and purification) was performed as previously described in *Müller et al. (2007). (*Müller P, Donnelly MJ, Ranson H (2007) Transcription profiling of a recently colonised pyrethroid resistant Anopheles gambiae strain from Ghana. BMC Genomics 8:36 doi:10.1186/1471-2164-8-36. )
P-MTAB-33440
nucleic acid extraction protocol
Total RNA was extracted using the Picopure RNA isolation kit (Arcturus) with a DNAse treatment. Total RNA quantity and quality were assessed by using a Nanodrop spectrophotometer.Up to 5.5 µg (ovaries) of total RNA were amplified in one amplification round using the Riboamp RNA Amplification Kit (Arcturus). aRNA quantity and quality were further assessed by a Nanodrop spectrophotometrer and agarose gel electrophoresis.
P-MTAB-33439
treatment protocol
Ovaries and MRTs were dissected in PBS (0.22 um filtered) and stored in RNA latter at 4 degrees C until RNA extraction.
P-MTAB-33438
growth protocol
Ovaries from non blood-fed females compared to ovaries of blood-fed females at different times after the blood meal: 16 and 22h post-blood-meal, and to male reproductive tracts from 3 days-old males (Kisumu strain).
