E-ERAD-185 - RNA-seq of the olfactory sensory neurons of the mouse MOE

High-throughput RNA sequencing of the olfactory sensory neurons of the mouse MOE. With this study we aim to assess the expression profile of the neural component of the main olfactory epithelium (MOE). For this, a transgenic mouse line that expresses GFP under the promoter of the olfactory marker protein (OMP) was used. Flourescent-labeled olfactory sensory neurons were FAC-sorted and the cells obtained from 10 to 15 animals were pooled together for each sample. Additionally, the whole MOE was also sequenced. Three biological replicates were obtained. RNA was extracted using the Qiagen RNeasy kit using standard protocols. All six RNA samples were multiplexed together and sequenced in two lanes on the Illumina HiSeq platform. This data is part of a pre-publication release.
