The aim of Human Resources is to support EMBL’s mission through delivering high-level services throughout the organisation. These services span recruitment and contracting, performance management, training and development, remuneration and other benefits, and exit procedures. On an EMBL-wide level, this includes collaboration with national authorities in the member states and networking with other international organisations and European agencies.

Human Resources at EMBL-EBI falls under Administration, which is led by Mark Green.
