IntAct Update: February 2014

Detail of Hippo protein interaction network

Dataset of the Month

Couzens ALKnight JDKean MJ, et al. (2013) Protein interaction network of the mammalian Hippo pathway reveals mechanisms of kinase-phosphatase interactions. Science Signaling 6, rs15

The data was submitted directly to IntAct as part of the publication process, and can be searched using IMEx ID IM-21541 on the IntAct website and the IMEx Consortium pages.

If you would like your data to become our dataset of the month, please submit it prior to publication, and contact us at intact-help@ebi.ac.uk

Release News

There was one release in January: R175. The IntAct database now contains 12,397 publications, 32,135 experiments and 439,013 binary interactions.

Network Analysis Training

Registration is now open for the 2014 Networks and Pathways course, which is held annually at EMBL-EBI on the Genome Campus in Hinxton, Cambridge, UK. This year it will be Monday, June 9, 2014 - Friday, June 13, 2014.

During this course you will learn about:

  • Molecular interaction and pathway databases: IntAct, Reactome

  • Network analysis tools: Cytoscape and selected plug-ins (BINGO)

  • Ontologies, identifiers and data standards: GO, PSICQUIC, IMEx, HUPO-PSI

HUPO PSI Spring workshop

If you are interested in becoming invovled in the further development of the molecular interaction standard formats and controlled vocabularies, join us at the 2014 Spring workshop in Frankfurt, Germany. Registration is free.
