Soaplab Web Services for EMBOSS programs

EBI Soaplab Web Services include most EMBOSS programs that are suitable for launching through Web Services. In order to see the list of the EMBOSS programs included you can visit its Spinet web interface here. Soaplab Clients Guide page lists different ways of using Soaplab Web Services. EBI Soaplab Web Services have two interfaces.

• Typed interface, includes input/output type definitions of EMBOSS programs at WSDL/XSD level, ideal for programmatic access
• Generic interface, includes methods to query input/output type definitions, ideal for legacy Soaplab clients such as Taverna Soaplab plugin

Soaplab Web Services has been upgraded to EMBOSS-6.1.0 and Soaplab-2.2.0

January 2009

Soaplab Web Services has been extended by the first beta release of a typed interface that includes definitions of input output types at the WSDL/XSD level
