Funding for the Renholz group is provided by:
  • Network of Excellence (NoE):

    Semantic Interoperability and Data Mining in Biomedicine (SemanticMining)

The NoE is funded by the European Commission.  It ties together research groups from TM in medical informatics and bioinformatics as well as groups designing and using ontologies as well as groups analysing patient related information.

A new project will start in April 2006

BootStrep is a large EU Strep project with serveral European partners. The goal is to generate ontologies from scientific literature and a fact database.
