GO:0002140 stereocilia tip link

Term Information

ID GO:0002140
Name stereocilia tip link
Ontology Cellular Component
Definition A stereocilia link that is formed by a fine filament running more or less vertically upward from the tip of each shorter stereocilium to attach at a higher point on its adjacent taller neighbor. Tilting the bundle puts tension on the filaments, which pull on mechanically gated ion channels in the membrane of the stereocilia.

ID Mapping

QuickGO maps between different identifier types by using a combination of mapping files provided by the databases, and using identifier cross-references supplied by UniProtKB.

If more than one identifier type needs to be used to map all required sequences, drag the selected databases to change the order in which identifiers are found.
