Several research and services groups at the EBI host a blog about their work. Below is a list of these blogs and a short description of what they cover.

  • EBI Gene Expression Atlas Blog (Functional Genomics Group, led by Alvis Brazma) – Provides news and discussion about the ideas, features and challenges of creating a large scale atlas of gene expression from publicly available microarray data.
  • SteinBlog (Chemoinformatics and Metabolism Team, led by Christoph Steinbeck) – A molecular informatics blog covering the Steinbeck group’s research, which is dedicated to the elucidation of metabolomes by means of computer-assisted structure elucidation and other prediction methods.
  • The Ensembl Blog (Vertebrate Genomics Team, led by Paul Flicek) – Provides news and updates about Ensembl; a genome browser for vertebrates and other eukaryotic species.
